The West Tallahatchie School District will be closed Monday, June 19, 2023 in celebration of Juneteenth holiday. The District will re-open on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 8:00 a. m.

Reminder: Technology device return for students this week from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p. m. The deadline to return devices is Thursday, June 15, 2023. Please note, this will be the last attempt to return devices. Students that have not been cleared through the technology department will be turned in to the principal.

A Regular Board Meeting / Teleconference / Zoom with the Board of Trustees of the West Tallahatchie School District will be held June 13, 2023 beginning at 06:00 PM at the District Office, 6470 Friendship West Road, Sumner, Mississippi.
West Tallahatchie School District's 2022-2023 school year free summer food service program will begin on Monday, June 5, 2023 and end on Friday, June 30, 2023. Breakfast is from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and lunch is from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for ages 0-18 Monday-Friday in the high school cafeteria. Buses will run in the communities for lunch.

Students' last day of school is tomorrow, May 31, 2023 for the 2022-2023 school year. Dismissal time is 1:30 p.m.
West Tallahatchie School District will be closed Monday, May 29, 2023 for Memorial Day. The District will re-open on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. Have a blessed and safe Memorial Day weekend.

Technology Device Return for 7-11th grades will begin on May 23, 2023 and end on May 26, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
