West Tallahatchie High School's Jobs for American Graduates (JAG), held its annual initiation and installation program on November 13, 2024 in the gymnasium. The theme was "Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow." Career President, Ethan Collier, and Kennedy Williams, Career Vice President, were the Masters of Ceremony. The Processional was conducted by JAG Mississippi Students followed by the Posting of Colors by Clarksdale High School ROTC. The National Anthem was played by Mr. Larry Gordon. The Prayer was given by Tradassah Green and the Welcome was distributed by Shaleyah Fairlee. The Purpose was given by Iraneshia Wise followed by the Crowning of Mr. and Miss JAG of Mississippi. Aaliayiah Westmoreland announced the Goal of JAG of Mississippi followed by the Career Preparation by Janyla Bailey, Civic Awareness by T'unshay Hardiman, and Social Awareness by Terrany Skinner. The Initiation Ceremony Pledge was conducted by Ms. Lakeita Hill, WTHS Career Coach, succeeded by the Introduction of the speaker by Reanna Lakes.
The guest speaker was Mr. Kenneth Grines, Director of Career Steps and Career Coaches of South Delta Planning and Development District. Recognition of Visitors was given by Akyhla Hicks.
